2.3 Information from Third Parties

If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from the respective authentication provider. We do not receive your password.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information exclusively to:

• Operate and maintain the App
• Enable you to share wishlists and gift preferences with friends
• Allow friends to secretly claim items from your wishlist
• Send push notifications for birthdays, friend requests, and gift coordination
• Provide customer support
• Improve the App's functionality and user experience

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Claim Privacy

When a friend claims an item from your wishlist, this information is intentionally hidden from you to preserve the gift surprise. Claims are protected at the database level using Row Level Security (RLS) policies, ensuring that wishlist owners cannot see who has claimed their items.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud infrastructure provider with data centers in the United States. We implement the following security measures:

• Row Level Security (RLS) policies on all database tables
• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• Secure authentication via JWT tokens
• Push tokens stored in an isolated table with strict access controls
• Server-side validation of all data operations

6. Data Sharing

We share your data only in these circumstances:

• With your friends: Your profile, wishlists, and gift preferences are visible to users you've accepted as friends
• Service providers: We use Supabase (database/auth), Expo (push notifications), and cloud storage providers to operate the App
• Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data through the App's profile screen
• Edit your profile information, wishlists, and preferences at any time
• Delete your account and all associated data permanently through Settings
• Remove friend connections at any time, revoking their access to your data
• Export your data by contacting us at the email below

8. Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time from the App's Settings screen. When you delete your account, we immediately and permanently remove:

• Your profile and all personal information
• All wishlists and wishlist items
• All claims you have made
• All friend connections
• All notifications
• All uploaded images (profile photos, wishlist images)
• Your push notification token

This action is irreversible.

9. Children's Privacy

Que Te Compro is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

10. Cookies and Tracking

The Que Te Compro mobile app does not use cookies or third-party tracking technologies. We do not display advertisements.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
